Dear colleagues in the fields of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture,
We are pleased to announce that the 9th World Traditional Medicine Forum and the 14th Canada Acupuncture and TCM Continuing Education Conference will be held on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19, 2027, in Toronto, Canada.
The conference is jointly hosted by the World Traditional Medicine Forum and the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Canada). It is organised by the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Canada), the Inheritance Work Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), the WFAS Toronto International Inheritance Base, the Dr. Wu’s Head Massage International Association, the International Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Manipulation Technique (IAAMMT), and the International Health Qigong Federation.
Co-organisers include the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), the WFAS Hungary International Inheritance Base, the Zhang Jin International Charity Foundation for the Development of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Dr. Wu Naturals Canada Inc., Zhang Jin TCM Acupuncture Clinic, Dr. Benjamin Wu Publishing and Media Ltd., and World Chinese Medicine (Canada Edition) Magazine.

Experts and scholars from the United States and Mexico in North America; Australia and New Zealand in Oceania; Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asian countries in Asia; and the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, and other European countries will gather to exchange clinical experience and share research findings, with particular emphasis on conditions in which traditional medicine has demonstrated particular strengths.
Experts and scholars from across Canada will also share their extensive clinical experience and insights gained through many years of practicing traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture in Canada.
This prestigious international gathering will provide an exceptional opportunity for academic exchange, professional collaboration, and the advancement of traditional medicine worldwide!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to TCM experts and scholars from around the world and across Canada, particularly those from Ontario, for their continued support and participation in our previous 13 academic conferences, held in 2009, 2011, and annually from 2016 to 2026.
We cordially invite TCM practitioners and acupuncturists from Canada and around the world, faculty members and researchers from TCM colleges and universities worldwide, and representatives of pharmaceutical and medical device companies to attend this international conference. Paper Submission Requirements:
The deadline for paper submissions is July 31, 2027. Each paper should not exceed 3,000 words. Papers must be submitted in both Chinese and English, accompanied by an abstract of no more than 300 words in each language. An additional translation fee of CAD $100 will be charged for Chinese manuscripts requiring translation into English.

The conference will publish a volume of proceedings. The Academic Committee reserves the right to review and select submitted papers, determine their suitability for publication, and make necessary editorial revisions to their text, figures, and tables.
Registration Fees:
The conference registration fee is USD 400 per participant. This fee includes refreshments, such as soft drinks, coffee, tea, desserts, and snacks, as well as buffet meals. Participants wishing to attend the conference banquet will be required to pay an additional fee of CAD 100 per person.
