Welcome Message from the Organising Chairperson Prof. Bin Jiang Wu
Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, good day!
We are pleased to announce that the 9th World Traditional Medicine Forum and the 14th Canada Acupuncture and TCM Continuing Education Conference will be held on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19, 2027, in Toronto, Canada.
The conference is jointly hosted by the World Traditional Medicine Forum and the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Canada). It is organised by the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Canada), the Inheritance Work Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), the WFAS Toronto International Inheritance Base, the Dr. Wu’s Head Massage International Association, the International Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Manipulation Technique (IAAMMT), and the International Health Qigong Federation.
Co-organisers include the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), the WFAS Hungary International Inheritance Base, the Zhang Jin International Charity Foundation for the Development of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Dr. Wu Naturals Canada Inc., Zhang Jin TCM Acupuncture Clinic, and Dr. Benjamin Wu Publishing and Media Ltd., and World Chinese Medicine (Canada Edition) Magazine.
Supporting organisations include Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Central College, Canadian Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences, Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, American College of Healthcare and Medicine, Heilongjiang Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hebei University of Chinese Medicine, Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine, Gansu University of Chinese Medicine, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, the Yihui Yuncui TCM Big Data Cloud Platform of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Jinmu Group, Yunlong Company, and multiple media organizations.
The theme of the conference is “Upholding Tradition, Advancing Development and Innovation, and Benefiting the World,” and its purpose is “to leverage the strengths of traditional medicine and enhance clinical efficacy.”
This year’s forum and academic conference will bring together distinguished experts and leading scholars from the global traditional medicine community, making it an exceptional international gathering for academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and professional collaboration!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to TCM experts and scholars from around the world and across Canada, particularly those from Ontario, for their continued support and participation in our previous 13 academic conferences, held in 2009, 2011, and annually from 2016 to 2026.
We cordially invite TCM practitioners and acupuncturists from Canada and around the world, faculty members and researchers from TCM colleges and universities worldwide, and representatives of pharmaceutical and medical device companies to attend this international conference. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming experts and colleagues from around the world to exchange knowledge and clinical expertise, share experiences, strengthen friendships, and learn from one another.
